In a floor plan of 380 m2 and 9m high, the ground floor is chosen to remain unused and accommodate only the accesses to the apartments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim is to emphasize the drama of the landscape but also of the building itself, which due to the sharp slopes of the ground around the perimeter, light enters the interior only through large openings in its central facade, creating intense photo shadows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The apartments as a whole are organized in such a way as to touch the main fa\u00e7ade from where they are bathed in light and enjoy the view while their perimeter walls are in distance from the existing stone shell in which only beams are nailed, creating a very specific dialogue between new and old . The distance is such as to allow light to reach the entrance area through skylights that are opened into the roof adding even more to the tension caused to the visitor upon entering the &#8216;tower&#8217;.
